You can also buy coloring books, water colors, crayons and safety scissors for the little ones.

You need to stock up lots of disinfectants, anti-biotic ointments, band-aids, burn sprays, sun-block lotions, calamine cream etc. it often proves beneficial to have children's Tylenol and Ibuprofen on hand. The promotion and advertisement of your day care centre can be done through classified ads, word of mouth, fliers and all other similar modes. Make sure you have an interview sheet ready while you are meeting up a child for the first time. It should contain all the necessary questions like allergies (drug, food and other), emergency contacts, favorite hobbies and activities, past day care history if any, dislikes and any other information that you think is necessary. You need to clearly talk to the parents about the timings, pick and drop facilities, mode and amount of payment, services which you would provide and services which you are ready to provide if needed etc. you can print these policies and get the signature of the parents so that disputes can be avoided in the future.
