child support is meant to help with the cost of the child… clothes, shoes, food, and yes child care…

It’s part of what is taken into consideration for the expenses to be shared in Pennsylvania.

I believe that child support is to cover any costs for children and only costs for children. I would think that child care is included.

child support is to help with all aspects of child care including daycare.

Well in NY…I am 100% sure…that child support does not cover child care. My ex-husband pays child support for my son, pays 30% of child care expenses and 70% of medical expenses (ie: co payments)

It depends on the situation. Unless it’s court ordered otherwise then yes child support is supposed to cover child care. In some cases they make the parties split it on top of child support but not always.
