you could have the police come in w/ dogs to teach kids about the law and stuff…Kids LOVE dogs!

There are so many resources on the internet, I couldn’t even begin to list them.
I would suggest picking a theme every week or two and finding activities to do around the themes. Sometimes they may be holiday or season themes, but sometimes it will be other things - like “on the farm” or “in the water”.
Kids like active and interactive play so try to incorporate those activities, but you will also need downtime like naps and quiet reading.
And if kids don’t like coming to your daycare, don’t take it personally - it just means they prefer their parents which really is how it should be.
And sometimes there will be dull moments and you will have to ask children to do things they don’t want to do - like cleaning up a mess they just made - or stopping an activity because it’s meal time - and they need to learn that as well.

i use to work at a daycare and we had music time and we did crafts like painting or we danced to music then nap ofcourse

my sons daycare is doing alphabetical show-in-tell! once a week they bring in something thats starts with a letter of the alphabet, like first week they bring in something that starts with an “A” and so on. then the learn about the letter and make drawings about it. so its educational and the kids have fun showing stuff from home. they also get some art time out of it too!!

I had one and I closed it due to kids having kids and thinking i was going to raise their baby’s so they could party and not work.. some advice dont keep teenagers babys.. as far as fun things

when you go to school to get child care certified they offer lots and lots of useful info on activities. and your classmates will be lots of help too.
